The purpose of our site visit was to review the steel beam that had been installed below a glu-lam beam above the kitchen to remove bearing columns. During our site visit we noted that the existing glu-lam ceiling beam was supported on a brick bearing seat that is located on the end shall beam a gap in the brick wall that is with located at the east side of the unit.
