In arder to pre�ent a nan-emergency response frQm the Vail Fire ❑epartmen�Suppression crews to the ct�n-
struetion location yo� m�y be warking on, we asEc that you perform th�following tasks:
Determine what kind of fire alarm system exists within the structure you are
working in with the awn�r or�he manager of the praperty involued or by contact-
X ing the Vail Fire Department.
Determine with#Y�e ow�aer or manager of the property, which �larm company
X services the system for them
Become familiar with the different components that are associated with the fire
� alar� systerr� and how they operate before the DEMO begins.
X Never paint a smoke detec#or, thermal detector, or any other cornpanent of the
fir� aEarm system and never paint a sprinkler headleov�r plate.
For larger projects, please contact the Vail Fire Department so that we can
work with yau in determining what needs to be done to �I#er or"Zone �ut" spe-
� cific areas of the al�rm system for the struc#�re.

Sprinkler systems, issued under pravisions of the Internat9onal Fire Cade shall be based on an hourly rate of$72.00
per hour per person far site inspections, plan re�iew and permit processing.
