This is a Electrical Load report for the Vail Community
Development Office for the remodel at Unit #404, 1150
Fall Ridge Road, Vail CO. I am the electrician working for
Extreme Builders. My company is Eagle Electric Inc. and
my name is Michael Koenen.
The property is in an apartment complex Fall Ridge. The apartment has one
single phase meter which has a 100 amp breaker for the apartment.
The only power requirements are different is to split the microwave
and the refrigerator which where on the same breaker. We will add a
breaker to bring it up to code.
The original apartment had(37) 6 inch recessed lights or surface
lights with flood light incandescent bulbs. We will be adding less (34) but
some of the cans will be 4 inch. The original apartment also had several
track lights with 8 bulbs, that will be eliminated.
We will replace the recessed lights trims and bulbs with SO%
fluorescent bulbs. The net energy will be 1000 watts less than the original
load.
No other changes will happen except the baseboard heaters will all be
changed to hydroic which save 30% energy.
