All projects requiring de- sign review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Community Development Department, as outlined in the submittal requirements. The project may also need to be reviewed by the Town Council and/or the Planning and Environmental Commission. Design review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a building per- mit is issued and construction commences. Other . .New Fence Metal & Boulders interconnected stone, metal. see elevation P. 970.479.9990 F. 970.479.0619 12 Vail Road, Suite 700 Vail, CO 81657   March  24,  2014     Design  Review  Board   75  South  Frontage  Road  West   Vail,  CO  81657     Dear  Design  Review  Board  Members,     I  am  writing  on  behalf  of  our  client  the  Resnick’s.  We  are  currently  under  construction  on  their  home   on  the  Vail  golf  course  and  the  home  will  have  a  pool.  We  are  required  to  have  a  fence  for  safety   reasons  and  so  we  believe  we  have  designed  an  attractive  fence  that  blends  natural  stone  elements   into  the  fence.  We  have  worked  to  address  TOV  staff  comments  by  adding  more  landscaping  pockets   and  pulling  the  fence  off  the  corner  of  the  southeast  corner.  We  have  also  shown  the  fence  on  the   Landscape  Plan  so  that  it  shows  how  the  fence  will  blend  with  the  approved  landscaping.  The  fence   wraps  around  the  northeast  corner  of  the  home  because  the  northeast  corner  of  the  home  is  a  deck   and  the  space  is  not  enclosed  under  the  deck.     The  two  homes  that  are  adjacent  to  the  Resnick’s,  both  to  the  east  and  west,  have  fences  along  the   north  side  of  their  lots.  Provided  with  this  application  are  images  of  the  fence  to  the  east.  The  fence  to   the  west  was  not  photographed  because  it  was  buried  under  the  snow.     If  you  have  any  questions  we  welcome  the  opportunity  to  respond  to  them.     Regards,     Travis     Travis  Coggin   Triumph  Custom  Homes   12  Vail  Road,  Suite  700  |  Vail,  CO  81657   travis@triumphdev.com  |  (307)  690-­‐3716
