Titie Title,ownership and the right to possession of the product or materials furnished or to be furnished by PWD shall remain in PWD until PWD is paid in full. Our vent would be located on the south side of the chase and against the angled south wall, which puts it a minimum of 11 feet of horizontal distance from the window wall, and somewhat more when considering the diagonal to the window opening and the vertical distance to the window sill. We should be fine for proper ventilation. The 2 by 2 by 12 in chase would be covered with the appropriate siding and painted the same color as the wall. I would like to think that the elimination of the current metal pipe flue will make a pleasing improvement in the view from the bedroom. I don't know what they were thinking when they put the current flues up originally ;) . The new fireplace flue will replace the current rusty pipe that we currently have, and which doesn't function well enough for us to use our fireplace. The new flue well be located to the southeast corner of the space above. The new flue will no longer be in the middle of the line of sight from unit 12. It would be 2 feet high, 2 feet long from north to south and 10-12 inches wide from east to west. It would be covered by siding and painted to match.
