HomeMy WebLinkAboutDRB140088 Summary Letter PYLMAN & ASSOCIATES Apri19, 2014 Mr.Warren Campbell Town of Vail Community Development Director 75 South Frontage Road Vail, CO 81657 Re: Timber Ridge Dear Warren: Thank you for taking the time to meet with Hans and I this afternoon to discuss the proposed revisions to the Timber Ridge (Lions Ridge) approved DRB plans. The attached redlined and annotated plans indicate the proposed changes in graphic format. In summary the following are the revisions proposed by this application: • A slight shift of the roof height transition to align with the building firewalls. • Moved meters from the eastern dumpster to the north elevation of Building 1. • Split the meter banks from one end of Building 2, 3 and 4 to place meters at both ends of the buildings to eliminate pipes crossing multiple fire walls. A few windows were removed to accomplish this. • Shifted landscaping south of Building 2 parking to create more functional snow storage. • Added shrubs to the area above boulder retaining wall in front of Buildings 3 and 4. • Added a small amount of lawn area west of Building 4. • Substituted the re-vegetation seed mix from Mountain Mix to Native Dry Mountain Mix.
