RE: Sweet Basil's Restaurant Remodel
Mr. Vaughan,
This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will
be performed by Western States Fire Protection at Sweet basil's restaurant remodel.
Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows.
Relocate branch line with two heads for installation of new duct in hallway to restrooms.
Add one dry pendant in new wine cooler.
Relocate two heads in dishwashing area for wall removal.
Reposition six heads in upstairs office area for ceiling removal.
All work performed will comply with NFPA13 and local standards.
This is a steel pipe wet system on the first and second level floor. All added materials will be
compatible with the existing system.
It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work
described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is
required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294.
