General1.Immediately notify the engineer of any discrepancies.2.Labor, materials, and equipment shall conform to the latest applicable editions of local, Stateof Colorado, and National Codes and ordinances. If conflict between those publications exists,the most stringent requirement shall apply.3.The drawings show the intent of the mechanical systems but do not show all details required.It is the responsibility of the contractors to install complete & operable systems, whichconform to the manufacturers' installations instructions & industry standards.4.Offset piping, ductwork, etc. as necessary to accommodate structure, beams, columns, andexisting equipment.Piping5.Domestic Hot, Cold & Recirculation piping inside building - Match existing piping type.Extend minimum 3/4" pipe to new fixtures.6.Waste & Vent piping inside building: Standard weight, C.I. soil pipe, and fittings, or hubless,C.I. soil pipe and fittings. Up through 2-1/2" may be standard weight, galvanized steel pipewith black, C.I. drainage fittings.7.Heating Water piping - Match existing piping type. Extend minimum 3/4" to new equipment.8.Snowmelt - Match existing piping type.9.Gas Piping - Schedule 40 black steel pipe, 150 lb. malleable iron screwed fittings on aboveground pipe, welded fittings with all piping coated and wrapped on buried pipe. CSST pipe isallowed for final connection to equipment only.Insulation10.Insulate all new heating water, domestic hot water, domestic hot water recirculation, andsnowmelt piping with AP Armaflex.Mechanical Specifications1.KSH-1 Kickspace Heatera.Upon a call for heating from wall mounted line voltage thermostat, control valve shall openand fan shall start.b.Fan shall be wired to run on low speed only.Sequence of Operation
