Per Table 722.2.2.1 (IBC 2012) this thickness of concrete will provide a Fire Resistance Rating of 2 to 4 hours. In addition the assembly will include a layer of 5/8" Gypsum Wallboard adding 20 minutes to the assembly per Table 722.2.1.4 (2) The Fallridge Condominium building is Type II A. Per Table 601, Roof Construction is required to be 1 Hour. Based on the existing conditions the assembly exceeds the 1 Hour Fire Resistive requirements.
