Ford Amphitheater Phase II Improvements, 530 South Frontage Road East, Vail, Colorado Gentlemen: As requested, we are providing a summary of our observations provided for the above referenced project. The reports of the services requested and performed for the project are attached for reference. The services were performed in accordance with our agreement for services with R.A. Nelson&Associates dated October 31, 2013. The observations were inade on a daily basis when requested between February 18 and March 14, 2014. A total of 6 masonry construction observations and 3 reinforcement steel inspections were inade. All of the observed construction met the specification except for the reinforceinent steel inspection on March 6, 2014 which was missing one bar and was reported to the contractor. Based upon inferences drawn from our observations, as documented by the attached daily field reparts, it is our professional opinion that the referenced construction has achievcd the specified conditions except for the one reinforcement bar noted. Please recognize that construction observation and testing are sampling functions that involve direct observation and testing of very limited amount of the overall work to evaluate the construction compliance.
