The following is a summary of services provided on this date. As directed by Alex Coleman with Alpine Mountain Builders,GROUND inspected the following in unit 405: 1)Inspected welded connection of angle to existing HSS column and angle clip to new beam per section 3 on S2.1. These connections were found in compliance with project plans and in general compliance with AWS D1.1-10 clause 6. 2)Inspected bolted connections of column cap plate to new beam. These connections were found in the"snug tightened"condition, per project plans and in general compliance with Research Council of Structural Connections(RCSC). 3)Inspected anchor connections at HSS column base to foundation and found these were fully tightened per project plans. 4)Received and reviewed Welding Procedure Specification(WPS)and Welder Qualification Test record(WQTR)in accordance with AWS D1.1 for Vail Manufacturing. Alex was present during the inspections. Alex was E-mailed a copy of this report. The LEED Green Building Rating System certifies entire projects on the basis of design and environmental impact. In addition to offering the broadest product selection of any structural steel fire protection manufacturer, our products combine high-recycled content in addition to local manufacturing locations. In addition to their fire protection capabilities, BLAZE-SHIELD II and BLAZE-SHIELD HP offer exceptional thermal value and acoustical benefits. BLAZE- SHIELD II and BLAZE-SHIELD HP are composed of 100% inorganic binders which make them mold/mildew resistant. CAFCO-BOARD is a rigid board fire protection product that provides hourly rating requirements for structural steel members, including floor and roof decks. CAFCO-BOARD is ideally suited to address sequencing issues such as roof construction and construction roof traffic, where sprayed fire protection is required. Due to CAFCO-BOARD being mechanically fastened to the substrate, it is unaffected by roof traffic during and after application. CAFCO-BOARD also offers exceptional thermal value and acoustical benefits. CAFCO HEAT-SHIELD, although not a fire protection product, is an effective thermal and acoustical treatment product. It can be applied at varying thicknesses dependent upon the R-Value or NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) Value required for the project. CAFCO 300 and CAFCO 400 are structural steel fire protection products that satisfy all AIA (American Institute of Architects) physical performance requirements for commercial and medium-density products, respectively.
