has been asked to approve the upper deck enclosure of unit 17. The
Ptarmigan Board members wish the renovations to the creek side
bedroom windows (extending the bedroom on to that patio area), mirror
those done on unit#21 which has become the standard for these upper
deck enclosures.

SECTION 1—Introduction
Purpose and Intent of Air Monitoring:
This report concludes the scope of professional onsite and compliance services associated with the
abatement of drywall at the residence of 1975 Placid Drive unit 17.
All air samples collected by ATUM Environmental and were analyzed by Aerobiology. All removal and
asbestos-related work was performed in accordance with federal, state,and local asbestos regulations.
All associated air monitoring activities were performed by Donald Miskimon CDPHE certification
#13091.
Perform visual and tactile inspection of containments and sample for the maximum allowable asbestos
level (MAAL) with PCM sampling and analysis during asbestos abatement of asbestos containing
material (ACM) to determine the proper abatement processes. EPA regulation 40 CFR 61, Subpart M,
National Emissions Standard for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), prohibits the release of asbestos
fibers into the atmosphere during renovation or demolition activities. The Asbestos NESHAP rule
requires that suspect regulated asbestos-containing building materials be identified, classified and
quantified prior to planned disturbances, renovation, or demolition activities.
ATUM Environmental, a State of Colorado registered Asbestos Consulting Firm warrants that the
oversight of asbestos contained herein has been with the level of care and skill exercised by experienced
and knowledgeable environmental consultants who are licensed or otherwise trained to perform asbestos
monitoring and inspections pursuant to the scope of work required on this project.

Dear Mr. Tom McCord:
The bulk samples submitted to FRS Geotech, Inc. have been analyzed by polarized light microscopy (PLM),
the EPA-recommended method far determination of fibrous constituents in building materials. The percent of
asbestos contained in the samples is a visual estimation based upon comparisons with published charts. The
results of these analyses are summarized in the enclosed table. This report relates only to the items received
and tested by our laboratory. According to requirements set by the National Institute of Standards and
Technology/NVLAP, this report must not be used by the client to claim certification, approval, or
endorsement by NVLAP,NIST, or any agency of the Federal Government. Also,NVLAP guidelines specify
that this report should not be reproduced,except in full,without the written approval of FRS.
A copy of your Chain of Custody is attached for your convenience. This report is considered highly
confidential. Results will not be discussed with any person not associated with you.
