In summary, ordinance No. 6 states that it is unlawful for any
person to litter, track or deposit any soil, rock, sand, debris
or material, �,ncluding trash dumpsters, portable toilets and
workmen vehicles upan any street, sidewalk, alley ar p�blic
place or any portion thereo€. The right-of-way on all Tawn ot
Vail streets and roads is apprvximateZy 5 ft. off pavement.
This ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Town of Vail
Public Works Department. Perscans �ound violating this ordinance
wiTZ be given a 24 hour wxitten natice to remove said material..
In the event the p�rson so notified does not comply wa.th the
notice within the 24 hour time specified, the Fublic Works
Department will rexnove said material at the expense of person
notified. The proyisions o� this ordinance shalT nat be
applicabie to construction, maintenance or repair project� of
any street or alley or any utilit�es in the right=a-way.
