penetrations are in compliance with IBC 712.
i1. Mechanical and plumbing is being kept as existing except where existing sinks have been
removed or moved. Electricaidrawings will be provide by the subcontlactol for the electrical
permit.

Underground services shallbe in conduit (PVC) trom the utility transformer to the electric meter, maln
disconnect swikh, and to the first electrical distribution circuit breaker panel.
The main disconnect switch shall be readily awible, andloated ne)ft to the meter on the exterior wall of
the structure. All underground conduits are required to be inspected before back-fllling the trench.
In multi-family dwelling units, no electrical wiring or feeder cables shall pass from one unit to another. Cpmmon

TOWN OF VAIL ELECTRICAL PERMIT GUIDEUNES
All installations of exterior hot tubs or spa's require a DRB approval from planning. This application will
not be accepted without a copy of the DRB approval form attached (if applicable).
If this permit is for installation of an exterior hot tub or spa on a new elevated platform or deck over
30" above grade, you must also obtain a building permit.
If this permit is for installation of an exterior hot tub or spa on any existing deck or elevated platform,
a structural engineer must review the e<isting condition and veriry that it will support the added
concentrated load. Please provide a copy of ffre structural engineers wet stamped letter or drawing
with this application.o If this is a remodel in a multi-family building Wth a homeowners association, a letter of permission
from the association is required.tr If this permit is for a commercial space, two (2) sets of stamped drawings are required. Eleffiical
