Director's employment a porson who violates or causes anothcr to violate thc same. top
remove such sand. gravel, rocks. rnud, dirt, snow, ice or any other debris or material within
twenty four (24) hours aftcr receipt of said notice by tle Director of Public Works. In the
cvent the person so notified does not comply with the noticc within thc period of time hercin
specified, thc Director of Public Works, or other authorized agent, may cause any such sand-
gravel. rocks, mud. dirt, snow, ice, debris or any other material to be rcmoved from any strcet
or allcy at thc cxpense ofthe notified.
C. Exceptions: Thc provisions of subscction A hcreof shall not bc applicable:
1. Withrn the immediate area of any construction, maintenance or rcpair project of any
street or allcy or of any water main. scwer main. elcctncity linc. gas line. telephonc line

If this permit requircs a Town of Vail Firo Department Approval. Engineer's (Public Works)
review and approval, a Planning Departrment review of Health Department rcview, and a review
by the Building Department, the estimated time for a total review may take as long as three (3)
weeks..
All commercial (large or small) and all multi-family permits will havc to follorv the above
mentioned maximum requirements. Residential and small projects should take a lcsser amount of
time. However, if residential or smaller projects impact the various above rnentioned
departments with regard to necessary review, thesc projects may also take the tkee (3) week
period.
Every attempt will be made by this department to expeditc this permit as soon as possible.
