The following was noted:
The purpose of the site visit was to observe the addition's structure. The installed new foundation
walls were backfilled and the new floor slab in place. The foundation walls were built with fully
grouted 8" CMU walls, reinforced as detailed in the construction documents. The substitution of
CMU for the specified 8" concrete walls was a contractor's option.
