Thank you for the helpful advice you gave by phone about hot^r to get a
permit to install a new window in unit Bo7 I Timber FaIls Phase II
iondorninium Agsociation. t,Jill you plea=e forward this letter and
application to the Design Review Boardr from which I believe it goes
autornatically to the office that can issue a building permit.
Many of the units in our development have added new windows in the
Iast geveral years. t^le want to oPen up a view and secondari ly let in
more Iight. Attached are sofne photographs I took in septernber
showing the wall where the window will gor the view we want to
"..-==, and exterior shots ofthe rear of our building and the one
next door, showing that a variety of windows has been installedl and
ours will fit in with the overall appearance of the area as well as
any of them.
t.,e are the contractors ourselveg and are hiring an experienced
carpenter to do the actual work. The required tFI TOOOrOOO ingurance
is covered by the combination of the homeowners policy we carry on
the unit plus a $Srooorooo urnbrel Ia liability policy we carry. (see
copies). A company representative hag agsured us this coverage would
apply to anything that might go wrong during the project'
In the hope of expediting the projectr we attach a check for tisOr to
the Town of Vai I . l.le understand that a minimum of :5?o is required
with the Design Review Board application and that thig is then
applied toward the coEt of the building permit. our proSected total
cogt is 92,OOO. If the 95O is not gufficient for both the design
review and the permitr Please let ug know.
