I am zubmitting an application for design review for a replacement deck at 3850 Fall Line
Drive, Unit #1, Vail, CO.
This unit is owned by John Oenick, Bamey Racine, and Marcia & JeffSantaga.
Included in this packet is the application for design review, written approval letter by
Condo. Association President, the structural plans for the deck (option #1 replacernent),
and a $250.00 check for minor alteration (multi family/commercial).
The aesthetic appearance ofthe deck will be exactly, identical to the current deck. The
deck will be stained/painted to match the current deck/condo. exterior. We will be e-
mailing several photos of the current deck to Joe on Monday morning (9/26/05) at his e-
mail address to show existing conditions and elevation.

Design of footings is based on an assumed maximum allowable bearing
prcssure of 2500 psf (dead load plus full tive toad).
Footings shall be placed on the natural undisturbed soil, below frost depth.
A representative of the geotechnical engineer shall verifo soils conditions
and-types during excavation. Because geotechnical information was not
available at the time of preparation of flie construction documents, we
have used assumed values based on similar sites in the area.
