While there are many code issues that may not be resolved due to the age and nature of the building, it seems that the solution that was presented could be a reasonable option to resolve the exiting issues. The elevator will help provide ADA access to the building and will also facilitate multiple means of egress. The additional entry will also facilitate additional means of egress. The potential solution would benefit the building as a whole and would meet the intent of the Vail Town Code. However, the additional gross residential floor area would not be related to solving code issues. We look forwmd to working with Villa Valhalla in the future to solve some of your pressing code issues. Ifyou have any questions, feel free to contact any ofus with your questions.
