The construction disturbance will be too close to the trees we are asking for permission to remove.The aspen on the west side of the building
will be hitting the building when remodel is completed.The two additional spruce we are recommending for removal will have the roots
excavated back to within a couple feet of the trunk. We were asked to try and save them but with the hole the excavator will be digging there
will need to be an 8-9 foot cut back for safety issues and more than 50%of the root system will be cut.Also the top of one of the trees will be
under the proposed deck.The three cottonwoods in red are within the limits of disturbance as well and will be hitting the building after the

renovation and expansion of the home is completed. Lastly the cottonwood that is colored blue on this plan will have significant machine
damage to the roots and trunk due to the new access plan that will be necessary to get the machinery into the site.
All of the trees that are on this plan will be extremely stressed if left onsite.The excessive soil compaction due to the traffic will deplete the air in
the soil to the point that the feeder roots will have nowhere to grow and will ultimately die.The compaction will also prevent proper water
filtration. We will be requesting the homeowner to complete a soil amendment program prior to planting any new material.All trees are flagged
onsite with orange flagging.Thank you for the considering our application.
