General lnformation: This application is required for all proposais involving minor changes to buiidings and site improve-
ments, such as roofing, painting, window additions, landscaping, fences, retaining walls, etc. Applicable Vail Town
Code sections can be found at www.vailqov.com under Vaii Infortnation–Town Code Online. All projects requiring de-
sign review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit application. An application for Design Review
cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Communiry Development Department, as outlined in

My name is Charles Haxrison with Creative Environments from Vail,Colorado. We have had many designs approved
the Design Review Process,and am writing today to describe a new project we would like to start ASAP.
The Conners'Residence is located at 2427 A Garinisch Drive in Vail,Colorado. It has been in desperate need of
landscape enhancement for many years. Working with their Mr. Conners and his companion,Susan Murry,we have
concluded some minor improvements that we would like to make to the side and back of the house. It will be clear
after reviewing oux presentarion our intentions to boost some usable space and allow for the residents to be enjoy
areas of all of their yard. (6)Preserves residential neighbarhoods by lessening the impacts of potentially incompatible
uses).This Land Development Code is the cornearstone of this project
Our initial concept had actual hardscape that was deleted due to budget costs. You will notice the diffexence on the
Plan set. Despite the planning,the actual construction for this project should only take 1 to 2 weeks. We do foresee
the use of the main road for deliveries of stone,of which we will have to direct traffic with signs and safety vests.
