1.Install new,longer 24ga drip metal which closes the gap at the fascia lnstall addition line of heat-trace under the drip edge,between
the drip edge and the face of the gutter.
2.Replace existing valley metal construction with new valley construction including a double layer of Crrace Ice and Water Shield,new
sheet-metal valiey with edges stripped in with Grace Ice and Water Shield.Carefully integrate new valley construction with existing
cricket construction.
3.Remove existing cedar shake roofing and associated components in the area indicated on Figure 1.Install compiete coverage of Grace
Ice and Water Shieid.Install new medium grade multi-width cedar shakes with 30#felt interlaced Instail new 24 ga.galv.sheet-metal
flashings at rake,eave,and penetrations.Strip-in all flashings with Grace Ice and Water Shieid. At the eave condition wrap Grace Ice
and Water Shield down behind drip edge and over top leg of existing gutter.
4.Existing cricket at chimney to remain.Strip-in edges of new waterproofing to existing cricket construction and solder new valley metal
to existing cricket consrivction.
5.Remove and reset existing roof haich in order to extend and properly terminate New Ice and Water Shield.Install fillet bead of Grace
LM3000 at base of hatch to ease the transition of the Ice and Water Shield.
6.Install LM3000 liquid membrane fillet bead at the base of each snow-fence penetration.Install new 2-pc.sheet-metal flashing sleeve
integrated with roofing and new sealant at prepared,cleaned steel bases.Refer to attachment snow-fence sleeve conceptual detail-

face of the gutter.

double-layer of Grace Ice and Water Shield over cricket framing and 24-inches up the wa(Is. Install new watertight,solid soldered cricket
pan and new step flashings around base of chimney.Install new stucco holding it up a minimum of 2-inches from the roofing.New stucco
to properly integrated with existing lath and weather-resistive barrier and shall have 24 ga.galv.drip edge and weep screed at the base on
3 sides only.
5.Install new watertight cap with new solid support which provide pitch to drain. New support sha11 be waterproofed with new Grace
Ultra(high-temp)sheet-applied waterproofing with laps and terminations sealed with Grace LM3000. Cap metal to be solid soldered
K'ith drip edge around. Provide new drip rings,sealants,and hoods for existing pipe penetrations.
6.Install LM30001iquid membrane fillet bead at the base of each snow•fence penetration.Install new 2-pc.sheet-metal flashing sleeve
integrated with roofing and new sealant at prepared,cleaned steel bases.Refer to attachment snow-fence sleeve conceptual detail-
