Vail, CO 81657 Dear Commission Members: As an owner of Unit#4 in the Buffer Creek West Condominium Associate, located at 1880 Meadow Ridge,it has been brought to my attention that there is a request for review of a conditional use permit to allow for the development of public or commercial parking facilities on the land that was formerly known as the Roost Lodge,located at 1783 Frontage Rd.West. I would like to go on record in opposition to any change in use of this property, temporary or not.This is a neighborhood area that would be severely impacted by this request. Not only would a parking lot of construction vehicles be unsightly,it would add noise,traffic,exhaust and dust. It is unfortunate that the developer currently does not have the funding to move forward with the project as it was approved,but allowing a"temporary use"with a change in zoning is unwarranted and unacceptable. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. I will be out of town until June 14, but am happy to discuss in more detail my opposition and concerns when I return.
