HomeMy WebLinkAboutB15-0273 corrections required Date: 8/11/2015 Re: B15-0273 151 Vail Lane Dear Mr. Korkki and Viola, RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS ● Submit 2 complete sets of revised construction documents containing the requested information with all plan revision items clouded or otherwise identified. ● Please respond in writing to each comment with a response letter addressing each comment. BUILDING COMMENTS Architectural Comments: 1. Provide plans on minimum of 11 x 17 per Town of Vail submittal requirements. Removal of the railing and balusters requires the reinstallation to be in accordance with current building codes. References section 105.1 IBC 2012 edition. Submit plans and specifications for railings and balusters showing code compliance to include structural integrity. 3. Provide an overall plan sheet to include elevations showing the scope of work proposed. References section 107.1 IBC 2012 edition. 4. Provide the construction type and occupancy classification in order to determine proposed work is in compliance with Table 601 of the IBC 2012 edition. 5. Plans do not reflect the required secondary drains or scuppers per section 1503.4.1 IBC 2012 edition. Revise plans to reflect compliance with this code section. Please note the secondary drain is to comply with sections 1106 and 1108 of the IPC 2012 edition. Town of Vail Page2 Structural Comments: 1. Plans to reflect structural design criteria per section 1603 IBC 2012 edition. Plumbing Comments: 1. See architectural comment #5. Mechanical Comments: 1. Please clarify if the hydronic system is to be increased from existing. If it is being increased provide design criteria and plans showing the existing system is capable of accepting the additional load and the amount proposed.
