ALL CURRENTLY APPROVED OR ACCEPTED PROVISIONS OF APPLICABLE
CODES AND STANDARDS, AND ALL FEDERAL, STATE, COUNTY, AND
MUNICIPAL CODES, LAWS, AND ORDINANCES. SUCH CODES, STANDARDS,
LAWS, AND ORDINANCES SHALL, UNLESS OTHERWISE MUTUALLY AGREED
UPON, BE THOSE THAT WERE IN EFFECT ON THE DATE OF THE BID
OPENING.
D. CONTRACTOR SHALL MAKE MAXIMUM EFFORT TO PERFORM ALL WORK IN
THE LEAST DISRUPTIVE MANNER AND MAINTAIN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
DURING CONSTRUCTION. BARRICADES AND CONTROLS SHALL BE
ERECTED AND MAINTAINED BY THE CONTRACTOR UNTIL COMPLETION OF
PROJECT.
E. ALL EXISTING UTILITIES SHALL BE PROTECTED AND ALL DAMAGES TO
LANDSCAPING SPRINKLERS, UTILITIES, OR OTHER EXISTING STRUCTURES
AS A RESULT OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE RESTORED TO ORIGINAL
CONDITION EXCEPT WHERE MODIFICATIONS ARE NOTED.
F. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCAL TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN
CONTROL AND SITE SAFETY AND SECURITY. RESETTING OF SIGNS SHALL
INCLUDE THE TEMPORARY RESETTING OF SIGNS NECESSARY FOR TRAFFIC
AND PEDESTRIAN REGULATION(CAUTION SIGNS,ETC.)
G. AT TIMES OF EQUIPMENT EMPLOYMENT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL EMPLOY
FIELD PERSONNEL TO AID IN GUIDING PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC SAFELY AWAY
FROM THE WORKING AREA. THE AUDIO SIGNALS OF ALL CONSTRUCTION
MACHINERY SHALL BE IN WORKING ORDER DURING THE CONSTRUCTION.
H. CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN AND PAY FOR ALL NECESSARY BUILDING
PERMITS.
I. CONTRACTOR SHALL ESTABLISH A WRITTEN SCHEDULE OF CONSTRUCTION
AND REVIEW SAID SCHEDULE WITH ARCHITECT AND OWNER FOR
APPROVAL.
K. THE ARCHITECT SHALL RETAIN RIGHT TO APPROVE OR REJECT ALL WORK
PERFORMED.
L. CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF ANY BUILDING
DETERIORATION NOT SPECIFICALLY ADDRESSED BY THESE DRAWINGS
BEFORE CONTINUING WITH THE WORK.
M. CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE SALVAGE RIGHTS, UNLESS SPECIFIC ITEMS ARE
NOTED TO BE RETAINED BY THE OWNER.
N. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL EQUIPMENT, UNUSED MATERIAL, AND
DEBRIS FROM THE PREMISES AND LEAVE THE SITE IN A NEAT AND CLEAN
CONDITION.
GENERAL NOTES:
A. THE ARCHITECTURE AND ENGINEERING SERVICES PROVIDED BY SBSA
INVESTIGATION WERE LIMITED TO THE REVIEW AND EVALUATION OF
SPECIFIC AREAS OR ITEMS WHICH WERE VISIBLE DURING OUR SITE VISITS
OR AGREED UPON BY THE OWNER. OUR RECOMMENDATIONS ARE BASED
ON PROBLEMS WHICH ARE EVIDENT AT THE PRESENT TIME. NO
ASSURANCES CAN BE MADE THAT THE PROPERTY WILL NOT SUSTAIN
FURTHER DAMAGE AFTER ANY REPAIRS ARE PROVIDED.
B. THE REMODELING, REHABILITATION, AND/OR MODIFICATIONS OF AN
EXISTING STRUCTURE REQUIRES THAT CERTAIN ASSUMPTIONS BE MADE
REGARDING EXISTING AND PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS. BECAUSE SOME OF
THESE ASSUMPTIONS MAY NOT BE VERIFIABLE WITHOUT EXPENDING
ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY OR DESTROYING OTHERWISE ADEQUATE OR
SERVICABLE PORTIONS OF THE BUILDING. THE CLIENT, BY THE
ACCEPTANCE OF THE DRAWINGS AND DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS FOR
THOSE PORTIONS OF SERVICES RENDERED, AGREES, TO THE FULLEST
EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE
ARCHITECT/ENGINEER HARMLESS FROM ANY CLAIM, LIABILITY OR COST
(INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEYS' FEES AND COST OF DEFENSE) FOR
INJURY OR ECONOMIC LOSS ARISING OR ALLEGEDLY ARISING OUT OF THE
