Antenna Mount Analysis
Dear Ms. Huxtable:
Centerline Solutions performed a structural review of the existing antenna mount at the
above referenced site. The existing mounts are not adequate to support the new spint
antennas. New mounts must be installed to safely support the new Sprint 2.5 Antennas
and RRU's.
All new antennas and equipment shall be placed on the building as shown in the
drawings issued by this office.
Please contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,

Introduction
Seleetive Site Consultants, Inc. (SSC) has performed a structural analysis for the referenced
existing platform. The purpose of this analysis is to determine the overall stability and structural
adequacy of the existing structure to accommodate the proposed changed condition in
accardance with IBC 2012/ASCE 7-10.
Source of Data
Our analysis is based on information provided in the table below.

Platform Analysis
All wide flange shapes re assumed to be A572 grade 50 steel, all round hollow sections are
assumed to be A53 grade B steel, all other steel is assumed to be A36 grade 36 steel, and all bolts
are assumed to be gracie A325.
A structural analysis was perfarmed utiliaing RISA 12.0 software. The calculations were
performed in accordnce with IBC 2012/ASCE 7-10. See Appendix C for structural calculations.
The anilysis of the platform with the existing and proposed loads indicates no overstressing in
the modified pipe columns locted on the west side of the structure, also the replaced suppart of
the walkway in the southwest corner is adequate.
Conclusion and Recommendations
The conclusion of the following structurl analysis is that the rrcodified eqiipment platform will
be adequate for the proposed Sprint equipment installation provided the following modifictins
re implemented:
• The addition of bracing to the pipe columns. See Appendix B for details.
• Bolting the existing W 10 with 4" wide flanges to the existing W 10 with 8" wide
flanges. See Appendix B for details.
• The addition af stiffeners ro the existing W 10 with 8" wide tlanges. See
Appendix B far details.
• Replace the existing porch support in the southwest carner witl a full height pipe
column. See Appendix B for details.
The foundation and shelter framing were not analyzed; therefore, no conclusion of the structural
capacity and integrity of the foundation and shelter framing can be made without further
investigation.
If the proposed loading conditions are different or chinge from those analyzed, this report shall
be deemed obsolete and further investigation will be reqired.
If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
