Dear Mr. Baldwin,
My name is Joe Batcheller and I am writing with regard to your property on Westhaven Circle.
Concerns were raised about some landscaping issues there and at the neighboring unit. I drove
by properties and confirmed the concerns (as follows).
a) The temporary, above-ground sprinkler system has not yet been removed.
b) There is a variety of noxious weeds on site (thistle, leafy spurge, etc.).
c) Some tree stakes may no longer be necessary.
d) The fence on the north side of your property may have been installed without proper
approval from the Design Review Board, as it does not comply with section 14-10-9 (A &
1
B) of the Vail Town Code.

Friday, August 2, 2013, to let me know you have received this letter. We can discuss any
questions you may have and figure out how to best take care of the situation. The Town of Vail
would like these issues addressed at your earliest convenience, but no later than September 30,
