Dear Mr. Padley:
Hepworth-Aawlak Geotechnical, Inc. provided construction observation and materials
testing services for foundation soil bearing conditions anc� structural backfill, reinforcing
steei and concrete durir�g canstruction ofBuilding 4 as part af our services for the overall
site redevelapment. Our field inspection artd testing services for the project began on
September 3a, 2414 and are continuing on an as-requested basis. Our services for
BuiIding 4 are essentially complete ac this time.
Our services were perforrned vnder the�irection af the Undersigned licensed Engineer
registered in the State of CoZorado. Any nonconforming canditions, materials and/or
workmanship ic�entified during constr�ction were immediately brought to the attention of
the contractor for correction. Our testing and o�servation reparts have been distributed
under separate cover.
Based on inferences drawn from our observations during construction and the resuIts of
our testing as dacumented by Ehe referencec� field and laboratory reports, it is aur
professional opinion that the referenced four�dation soil bearing conditians, reinforcing
steel, concrete, and str�ctural backfill for the project have achiev�d the specified
conditions, and/or currently accepted industry practices as applicable. Please recognize
that con5truction observation and testing are sampling functions that involve direct
