Sheet A6.03 detail 7 : A. We have removed the note on our drawings regarding the 2hr enclosure to be attached to the structure above. B. We have added a note to the detail that the trash chute discharge door shall be 90 minute B label. See attached product data cut sheet discharge door information. 2. Sheet A6.05 detail 17 : A. We have removed the note on our drawings regarding the 2hr enclosure to be attached to the structure above. B. We have revised the trash room double door from 45 minute rating to be 90 minute rating which is further indicated on A2.OP-1A defined by the door type M.1 on our door schedule sheet A8.01.1 C. We have added a note to the detail and sheet A2.01-A that the trash chute discharge door shall be 90 minute B label. See attached product data cut sheet discharge door information. D. We have added a note to the detail that the trash chute intake door shall be 90 minute B label and ADA compliant. See attached product data cut sheet discharge door information. • Structural : 1. ASK- CCD 019-1 ( partial drawing from Architectural sheet A2.01-A-S ) : A. The question regarding fireproofing of the beam has been accounted for in this application. The beam in question here is at level 1 and is part of the elevated concrete beam and slab structure. All of our doors bear a UL 1-1/2 hour Z50° "B" label for installation into both masonry and drywall applications. Our 1" pan type doors are fabricated of type 302/304 Stainless Steel and use our silent hydraulic closure system ensuring a slow closing positive latching action eliminating noise and injuries. Door closures are located out of the flow of material to ensure a long life. All door frames are fabricated of steel angle which is fully welded and prime painted. Mounting flanges are made with elongated holes providing plenty of field adjustment. Doors include Stainless Steel trim embossed "RUBBISH"or °SOILED LINEN"and are available with standard or master keyed locks and electrical interlocks. All doors have replaceable door panels, latches and closures ensuring the lowest possible maintenance costs. - ;.-�a�n Bottom Hinged Hand Operated Door � The Bottom Hinged Hand Operated Door is used on most chutes handling loose rubbish or linen. The door opens a full 51� to provide a convenient slide hopper opening with side checks to reduce spillage. °V" backed intakes can �r. be furnished to restrict the size of material loaded into the chute, eliminating long oversize objects from clogging offsets or jamming the discharge. Rubber baffles are also available to reduce back draft and protect users from debris. Foot pedal operation may be specified for applications where you want to keep both hands free. Available in sizes: 12"w x 15"h, 15"w x 18"h, 18"w x 18"h, 21"w x 18"h, 24"w x 24"h. In service for over 40 years, this door design has set the standard to which all others aspire. Side Hinged Hand Operated Door 9 The Side Hinged Hand Operated Door is used on most chutes handling i rubbish from kitchen compactors and bagged linen or other bulky items. This _ door can be opened a full 180° to handle even the largest bags and bundles. When opened completely the clear opening is equal to the door's nominal size. Doors are available with left or right side hinging as well as top hinged rubber baffles to reduce back draft and protect users from debris.
