The use of the property for substance abuse classes is allowed through the Conditional Use process. Site Plan Approval: Yes Surrounding Zoning: North- I-70 and S. The use of the property for counseling services has been in effect in this location since 1987 or earlier. The use was a permitted by the Town of Vail in 1987 as Colorado West Regional Mental Health, and a building permit was issued and approved by the Town of Vail in 1987 for this use. After that date, the zoning code was amended to make healthcare facilities, including mental health and counseling, a Conditional Use.
