Re: Double Tree Common Area Fire Sprinkler System Modifications

Mr. Vaughn,
WSFP has been contracted to modify the existing fire sprinkler system located at the Double Tree hotel to
reflect changes made in the architectural layout of the common areas. The existing system was designed for
mostly light hazard with some rooms and closets that are spaced for ordinary hazard. The existing system
piping is a mix of steel and mostly copper. All modifications to the existing sprinkler system will be made with
respect to NFPA 13 (2016) and VFD requirements. A more detailed design for the porte-cochere system and an
asbuilt drawing of the common area will be submitted at a later date.
