Changes are indicated by a delta 1 and a bubbled enclosure. # PLAN CHECK COMMENTS REFERENCE 1. Comment: It appears that the common path of travel has been exceeded in this space per Table 1006.2.1 for an M occupancy. As detail regarding the mall exit corridor was not provided, I will need the following clarification: a.It appears that the mall exit corridor travels in to the adjoining tenant space. If this is the case, this cannot be considered an exit – please clarify. Response: Only one exit is provided through door #1. Exit sign at door #2 has been removed. The common path of travel has been corrected and is now in compliance with the maximum common path of egress travel distance of 75’-0”. A0.01 A3.01 A5.01 E200 2. Comment: It appears that a drinking fountain has not been provided for this space and there does not appear to be an exemption in Table 2902.1 exempting this space from this code requirement. Please provide additional information regarding this issue. Response: Customers to be served water while in space from water cooler located in office. A note has been added. A0.01 A2.01 3. Comment: It appears that the COMcheck cites the 2009 IECC – this document needs to comply with the 2015 IECC for this project. In addition, it appears that, “an office” occupancy is being used to complete the COMcheck when this occupancy has been proposed as an M occupancy – please clarify. Also, what information is being used in order to exempt the interior lighting from complying with the 2015 IECC? Response: COMcheck revised to show full compliance under 2015 IECC.
