Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system. : Lower level modifications as followed. : Relocate supply to lower level for new stairwell. : Reroute two branch lines to accommodate new wall and ceiling configurations. : Add two heads for new bump-out enclosure. : Relocate five heads on lower level to accommodate new wall configurations. : Upper level modifications as followed. : Reroute supply for new steel beam location. : Relocate two heads for required coverage per new wall lay-out. : Eliminate two heads due to wall removal to prevent cold soldering. All work performed will comply with NFPA13R and local standards. This is a copper antifreeze system on the first and second floor of building B. All added materials will compatible to the existing system. It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294. Sincerely.
