Re: Scope of Work Letter—Solaris Plaza 141 E. Meadow Dr. #202
Dear Mike,
We've been contracted to modify the fire alarm system at Solaris Plaza for the tenant space
occupied by Tesla. The building has a Notifier addressable fire alarm panel monitored by Johnson
Controls. The tenant finish essentially involves the addition of an office in the back corner of the
space. Smoke detector coverage will be accomplished using the 3 existing detectors, however
some will be relocated for better coverage. We will add a strobe in the office area, but will be
deleting a strobe which is in the way of display. Two other notification appliances in the general
space provide adequate visual and audible notification. This design has been approved in advance
by Johnson Controls engineering. There will be no impact on battery calculations.
Our installation will be performed in accordance with applicable NFPA 70, NFPA 72, IBC codes
and Town of Vail Standards.
