Dear Mike,
This letter outlines an upcoming scope of work to be performed at Vail Racquet Club. This work
will be performed by Thul Electronics. This scope constitutes Phase 3 of a series of upgrades
planned at this complex. Vail Racquet Club consists of 15 buildings and one Clubhouse. The
Clubhouse is up to date. Phase 1 consisted of upgrades to Buildings 3, 4 and 5. Phase 2 was
upgrades to Buildings 1, 2 and 6. Phase 3 will include the following upgrades:
• Fire alarm panel replacement in buildings 7, 8 and 9
• Upgrade of units 7-6 and 8-4 to partial ADA compliance specifically through the
installation of fire alarm strobes
• Conversion of unit smoke detectors to point addressable through the installation of
addressable monitor modules at each device
• Installation of one wireless carbon monoxide detector per unit to be located in the central
hallway outside of sleeping rooms adjacent to the existing hallway smoke detector
• Conversion of existing common area heat detectors and manual pull stations to
addressable through the installation of addressable modules
• Installation of one outside strobe on each building to provide designation to an
approaching fire department truck

if a permit may be issued.

The HPF602ULADA is a 6.0 amp notification power expander that = i

SYSTEM CONTRACT
Payments
An initial payment of 60% of the estimated project total will be collected at the time the contract is signed,
prior to start of the project. The balance of the project total, including sales tax, will be due at the
completion of the project.
Sales Tax
Any applicable sales tax will be included in the final billing. Please note that sales tax has been included
in the overall total of this proposal.
Change Orders
Any requested changes or deviations from this proposal will be considered a "change order". Change
orders must be presented to the client and signed for by both the client and Thul Electronics. Thul
Electronics reserves the right to substitute any piece of equipment in this proposal in case of unavailability
or discontinuation for an equal or greater value model. Thul Electronics is not responsible in any way for a
product's discontinuation or unavailability.
Warranty
Thul Electronics honors all manufacturers'warranties. Our labor is warranted for a period of one year.
Programming completed by Thul Electronics is guaranteed for a period of one year. Any changes to
programming requested after that period or any changes requested to support additional devices or
features not included in the original project definition may be subject to hourly programming charges. Thul
Electronics does not warranty products provided by another source.
Remodel Liability
In some installations, it is necessary for Thul Electronics to run wire and add devices to the walls and
ceiling of the home. In the process, wall finishes will be damaged. Thul Electronics is not responsible for
the costs to repair such damage. Protection to prevent the spread of dust or to prevent other damage to
the unit will be the responsibility of the builder or home owner. Thul Electronics' liability is limited to the
removal of trash and debris from the premises. Any additional cleaning will need to be coordinated by the
owner and done at the owners' expense unless otherwise stipulated in writing. Thul Electronics is not
responsible for re-stretching of carpet.
Final Installation
Thul Electronics'final installations are subject to certain conditions being met. If the home is not
adequately cleaned to prevent damage to equipment or reasonably secured to prevent theft of equipment
in time to allow us to perform our work, we will not bbe held responsible for home completion delays.
Once equipment is delivered to the home, it is considered property of the home owner. Thul Electronics is
not responsible for the damage or theft of equipment once it is on the owner's premises.

GUARANTEE
EQUIPMENT: Each component in a custom-installed system is warranted by its manufacturer. The
terms and lengths of these coverage's may vary.
INSTALLATION: Thul Electronics warrants residential installations against defects in materials and
workmanship to one year from the date of the project's completion.
ITEMS NOT COVERED: This warranty does not cover failures due to abuse, lightning strike (we
recommend surge protection products on all our installations), water damage, or other similar natural
occurrences. This warranty does not cover costs of removal and reinstallation of any defective
components covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Routine maintenance is not covered.
