Dear Mike:
Unit 320 at the Christiana at Vail is currently undergoing a major remodel and the contractor,
Nedbo has contracted us to handle the fire alarm system related to the remodel. The unit is a two
bedroom two bath unit and certain walls are being moved to relocate the entrances to the
bedrooms. As such, we will need to relocate the existing fire alarm devices to meet the standards
associated with NFPA72 2010. No new fire alarm devices will be required and we will re-use all
existing devices as they were recently installed in 2014. Monitored carbon monoxide currently is
installed in the unit. The Christiana currently has in place an addressable Silent Knight 5820XL
installed in 2014.
As no new devices are being added to the system, battery calculations, device |isto, and voltage
drops are not deemed necessary unless requested.
Our installation will be performed in accordance with Vail Standards and applicable codes as
noted.
