RE: City Market Vail TI - Sprinklers and Alarm
Fire and Safety Solutions is repairing the dry system in the parking garage due to leaking pipe. The system is being
repaired in sections as needed with like for like material. Fire and Safety Solutions will be upgrading the fire alarm
system with a new panel and retrofit new horn strobes.
Scope of Work:
• Fire and Safety Solutions will be demoing the corroded 4" and 2" piping and 1 1/2" on the dry system and
paint the new piping to comply with local codes.
• Change out the batteries in the daycare and rental shop fire alarm panel in order to comply with codes.
• We will add new horn strobes outside the store with waterproof boxes per code.
• Fire and Safety Solutions will blow out the dry system in order to remove any material present in the system.
• Fire and Safety Solutions will move the low air sensors off the outside wall and relocate them inside (if
possible)due to freezing temperatures
• The Fire System will be in compliance with City Market specs and local codes.
• Fire and Safety Solutions will replace corroded piping as needed throughout the system as a repair. This is
not a complete new dry system install. It is our intention to replace only the piping that has been identified
as corroded. If during the repair it comes to our attention that the entire system needs replaced, Fire and
Safety Solutions will stop repairs immediately and contact Jeff, Rick, and Mike to discuss future actions as
needed.
• We will be installing Dyna Thread and Dyna Flow and Galvanized piping.
• Fire and Safety Solutions will be running new wire for the Fire Alarm system as needed.
• We will be replacing alarm devices in order to comply with new Bosch System.
