Re : Scope of Work for Fire Alarm System Remodel
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the remodel at Village Center 2D. The
scope of work will be to bring the remodeled area up to NFPA standards adopted by Vail Fire.
Work performed will be to add two new Gentex 120vac single station smoke/heat detector and
one new Gentex 120vac CO detector to the unit. A mini horn will also be added in the
hallway to provide general alarm notification. The Heat detector alarm and CO detector
alarm will reports as sport signals for the unit. These devices will be added to the current
main fire alarm control system, a Notifier AFP-200 and will provide continuity between the
remodeled area and the existing building. All audio devices will be connected to the existing
power supply located next to the fire panel.
Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department and
schedule a final fire alarm test of the new area.
