Dear Mike:
Please accept this as a limited scope of work permit submittal to install a retrofit fire alarm system in
an existing single family residence located in Vail. No outstanding building permit exists on the
premise and the fire alarm project is stand-alone project. The residence is not sprinklered. We
propose to install a wireless, addressable, fire alarm system consisting of full coverage monitored
smoke detectors and carbon monoxide protection. Our installation will be performed in accordance
with applicable NFPA 72 2010 standards, 2012 International Building Code, 2012 International Fire
Code, 2011 National Electrical Code and Town of Vail amendments.
Please see battery calculations for a list of devices to be installed and corresponding locations.
