Re: Scope of Work for Fire Alarm System Remodel
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the remodel of unit 209 at Antlers The
scope of work will be to bring the remodeled area up to NFPA standards adopted by Vail Fire.
Work performed will be to notification devices to the bedroom and the living room area for
general alarm evacuation. Two 120vac single station smoke detectors will also be added in
the bedroom and living room for local smoke and general alarm heat activation. In addition
there will be one 120vac CO detector added in the living room that will be monitored as a
seperate point by the fire alarm system. These devices will be added to the current main fire
alarm control system, a Notifier AFP-400 and will provide continuity between the new area
and the existing building.
Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department and
schedule a final fire alarm test of the new area.
