Re : Scope of Work for Fire Alarm System Addition
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the remodel of unit 501 at Vail Village
Inn. The scope of work will be to bring the remodeled area up to NFPA standards adopted by
Vail Fire. Work performed will be to add speaker only devices to each bedroom and the main
living room areas for general alarm notification. Seven new combination smoke/heat
detectors will be added to each bedroom along with one combination smoke/heat CO detector
for the living area with-in 21' of the gas fire place. Each detector will be installed with an
addressable sounder base for local notification of both alarm and CO events. These devices
will be added to the current main fire alarm control system, a Notifier NFS2-3030 and will
provide continuity between the remodeled area and the existing building.
Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department and
schedule a final fire alarm test of the new area.
