Re: Vail Racquet Club—Phase 5
Dear Mike,
This letter outlines an upcoming scope of work to be performed at Vail Racquet Club. This work
will be performed by Thul Electronics. This scope constitutes Phase 5 of a series of upgrades
planned at this complex. Vail Racquet Club consists of 15 buildings and one Clubhouse. The
Clubhouse is up to date. Phase 1 consisted of upgrades to Buildings 3, 4 and 5. Phase 2 was
upgrades to Buildings 1, 2 and 6. Phase 3 covered buildings 7, 8 and 9. Phase 4 covered
buildings 10, 11 and 12. This phase, Phase 5, is the final phase and will include the following
upgrades:
• Fire alarm panel replacement in buildings 13 and 14
• Conversion of unit smoke detectors to point addressable through the installation of
addressable monitor modules at each device
• Installation of one wireless carbon monoxide detector per unit to be located in the central
hallway outside of sleeping rooms adjacent to the existing hallway smoke detector
• Conversion of existing common area heat detectors and manual pull stations to
addressable through the installation of addressable modules
• Installation of one outside strobe on each building to provide designation to an
approaching fire department truck
Device counts and equipment data sheets are attached. Please advise if a permi may be issued.
