We have reviewed the proposed Acucraft fireplace submittal dated 7/28/15 for the primary
residence great room as it relates to our mechanical design drawings dated 11/3/15. The Acucraft
fireplace itself has been reviewed and stamped by James Dunlev, an in-house Acucraft
professional engineer.
We understand the fireplace has a 200 MBH burner. The gas line has been sized to accommodate
that.
The fireplace is sealed, so fireplace make-up air is not necessary and is not included in our
mechanical design.
The fireplace, combustion air intake, glass cooling intake, Class A flue, heat relief flue, and all
other parts and pieces shall be installed according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
