Type I Grease Duct Smoke Test

Dear Mark,
This Jetter is to certify that I personally observed the duct smoke testing of the Type I Grease
Duct. I only observed testing of the horizontal ductwork from the hood connections to where
the horizontal ductwork connects to the vertical grease duct. The vertical grease duct was
previously inspected by R&H Mechanical. Please refer to R&H Mechanical letter dated 4/25/16
for inspection of the vertical duct section.
The testing consisted of inspecting each welded joint and seam utilizing multiple smoke bombs
and by slightly pressurizing the sealed ductwork with compressed air. I made several inspections
of the duct with my final inspection occurring on 7120116. The horizontal section of duct passed
the testing and is ready to be insulated as specified on our mechanical construction documents.
