THESE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS INCLUDING ARCHITECTURAL SHEETS HAVE BEEN PREPARED IN
RESPONSE TO THE SPECIFIC BASIC SERVICES REQUESTED BY THE OWNER CONTEMPLATING CONTINUED
INVOLVEMENT, SELECTIONS AND DECISION MAKING BY THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND OWNER
THROUGH COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION.
THESE DOCUMENTS INDICATE THE SCOPE OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN CONCEPTS APPROVED BY THE
OWNER AND INCLUDE DIMENSIONS OF THE BUILDING, THE TYPES OF STRUCTURAL SYSTEMS AND AN
OUTLINE OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING ELEMENTS OF CONSTRUCTION.
THESE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS PROVIDE THE SCOPE OF SERVICES AS OUTLINED IN THE

INTERIOR LIGHTING NOTE
GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO MEET 2012 IRC REQUIREMENT
SECTION N1104.1 LIGHTING EQUIPMENT:
A MINIMUM OF 75 PERCENT OF THE LAMPS IN PERMANENTLY
INSTALLED LIGHTING FIXTURES SHALL BE HIGH-EFFICACY
LAMPS.
Lower Level:
Entry:
1. Remove and relocate wiring after drywall is removed.
2. Remove and relocate existing electrical panel to new location.
3. Install a junction box in drop ceiling for the wiring relocation.
4. Supply temporary power for subcontractors working in unit.
5. Add 4 – 6” recessed light can fixtures in entry and closet ceilings.
6. Light fixture fire hats to be determined by TOV inspection at plan review.
7. Add electrical outlets per electrical code requirements.
8. Electrical switching will be determined on site to choose the best locations.
Kitchen:
1. Remove and relocate wiring after drywall is removed.
2. Install 5 – 6” recessed can fixtures in kitchen ceiling.
3. Install 2 – 4” rough in boxes over the dinning table for ceiling mount fixtures.
4. Install rough in wiring for kitchen under mount lighting.
5. Install rough in wiring for outlets on kitchen walls for back splash electric.
6. Install a whip long enough to put a surface mount electrical box inside sink cabinet
(This will be for the garbage disposal and dishwasher).
7. Install rough in wiring for the electric range.
8. Install rough in wiring for the microwave above the range.
9. Add electrical outlets per electrical code requirements.
10. Electrical switching will be determined on site to choose the best locations.
Living room:
1.Remove the wiring and switching at the existing dinning area. (These are surfaced mounted
2. Install 1 floor outlet centered with the fireplace and 32 “ from the bedroom wall.
3. Install rough in wiring for 2 – 3” recessed cans in the soffit to the left of the fireplace.
4. Install rough in wiring for 3 – 3” recessed cans in the soffit to the right of the fireplace.
5. Install rough in wiring for 2 wall sconces 1 on fireplace wall and 1 on the opposite wall.
6. Install rough in wiring for an outlet on the front of the fireplace wall for a TV.
7. All switching and heights will be determined on site to choose the best locations.
Guest Master bedroom and bathroom:
1. .Install 1- 4” rough in box in ceiling for a surface mount light fixture in the bedroom.
2. We will switch it next to entry door next to the existing switches.
3. Install rough in wiring for 4– 6” recessed cans in the ceiling of the bathroom.
4. Remove wall mounted light fixture over vanity.
Upper Level :
New Master Bedroom:
1. Install rough in an outlet on the east wall for a wall mount TV.
New Master Bathroom:
1.Install rough in wiring for 3 – 6 “ recessed cans in the ceiling.
2. Remove wall mounted light fixture over vanity.
Bedroom # 2:
1.Install rough in an outlet on the west wall for a wall mount TV.
Bedroom # 2 Bathroom:
1. Install rough in wiring for 3 – 6' recessed cans in the ceiling.
2. Remove wall mounted light fixture over vanity.

Please quote the light fixtures in LED and standard bulbs.
