1. Place outlets as required by the adopted
IBC/IEC. Contractor to verify spacing with electrical
code. All wall outlets shall18" above floor +/-) unless
otherwise noted. Outlets above counters shall be
placed horizontally in backsplash.
2. Fixtures, switches and outlets shown are called
out by general type unless a schedule is attached .
Owner to provide specifications.
3. Actual ceiling/soffit heights may vary according
to venting, structural and electrical requirements.
Verify final ceiling heights with Architect if different
from those noted prior to construction.
4. Light fixtures shall be located where
dimensioned or centered in spaces. Framing shall
take into account desired fixture location. Where
conflicts with framing occur, notify Architect
5. Recessed luminaires installed in the building
thermal envelope shall be sealed to limit air leakage
between conditioned and unconditioned spaces. All
recessed luminaires shall be IC-rated and labeled as
meeting ASTM E 283 when tested at 1.57 psf (75 Pa)
pressure differential with no more than 2.0 cfm (0.944
L/s) of air movement from the conditioned space to
the ceiling cavity. All recessed luminaires shall be
sealed with a gasket or caulk between the housing
and the interior wall or ceiling covering.
6. All recessed cans in bedrooms to have white
trims and baffles. Cans in public areas to have black
trims and baffles.
