Solutions Oriented. 04/04/2016 Vail Cascade Hotel Unit Mockup for Units 310, 317 Main Hotel, Unit 195 Terrace Building Scope of Work: Change smoke detectors to heat detectors in the Units being remodeled. Change smoke detectors to heat detectors in the immediate vicinity of the remodel Units. Change smoke detectors to heat in ingress /egress areas to the units that may have high levels of dust and dirt due to the construction. Sequence: Prior to work commencing a sight survey was conducted at the facility to determine the location of the construction, the extent of the construction, what areas were to be affected, the method of moving materials to and from the construction areas, the people in charge of these areas, and the base time frame for construction. Sequence: Seven smoke detectors were changed to heat detectors on the third floor west wing of the main hotel. The smoke detectors in units 310 and 317 were changed to heat detectors and were remapped to general alarm from supervisory alarm. The third floor service elevator shall be used to remove debris from the facility and material to the units. The smoke detector in the service elevator lobby and the smoke detector in the hallway immediately adjacent to the service elevator lobby was changed to a heat detector. Smoke detectors in the hallway within twenty feet of the Units were changed to heat detectors. The node: loop number: circuit number, are as follows: 10:1:28,29 10:1:31,32,33 10:1;42,45 Three smoke detectors on the 1st Floor of the Terrace building were changed to heat detectors. The smoke detector in unit 195 was changed to a heat detector the mapping was left as general alarm. The smoke detector in the hallway east of the unit where debris was to be removed from the facility, was changed to a heat detector and the smoke detector in the hall way west of the unit was changed to a heat detector. The above changes shall remain until the completion of the mockup units. The impairment plan shall be reassessed at that time and will be dependent on the remodeling of the remaining rooms and the sequence in which they are completed.
