Exterior Ceilings & Cantilever
R13 (2”) polyurethane spray foam to new 11 ¼” rafter exterior ceiling areas at upper level
R40 Fiberglass Blow-In-Blanket-System batts installed under spray foam at new 11 ¼” rafters
R13 (2”) polyurethane spray foam to sections of existing 9 ¼” rafter exterior ceiling areas at upper level
R31 Fiberglass Blow-In-Blanket-System batts installed under spray foam at existing 9 ¼” rafters
Note: there are sections of the exterior areas at upper where there will be no work done
R41 (6”) polyurethane spray foam to existing exterior cantilever at back of house (south)
Exterior Walls
R20 (3”) spray foam to new gable walls which separate newly insulated exterior ceilings
R24 Fiberglass Blow-In-Blanket-System to sections of 2x6 exterior walls at main & upper levels
4 mil poly vapor barrier to sections of exterior walls at main & upper
R15 Fiberglass Blow-In-Blanket-System to small sections of 2x4 exterior walls with 4 mil poly
Air sealing to all stud packs-window & door headers-top & bottom plates-rim joists-T-corners
Gaps at framing members where studs are exposed to space
Foam to all windows, all doors and all mechanical penetrations for proper thermal & air seal
Interior Walls
R11 & R19 unfaced fiberglass batts to Sections 2x4 & 2x6 Interior walls
