They require you to request a specific date for the extension. example: April 30,2017?

Re: Permits B16-0273 and E16-0145 Thank you so much for your follow-up email advising of the current status of the permits relating to our condo at 4516 Meadow Drive Timberfalls (Apt #807). My wife Suzanne and I have not, as yet, been able to commence the bathroom renovations for which the permits have been granted because:
· our principal place of residence is in Sydney Australia (condo 807 Vail is our second home); and
· after receiving the permit approvals during our summer residency in Vail we had difficulty
securing a suitable contractor and we returned to our home in Australia without commencement of the works. We are returning to Vail around 1 January 2017 for our winter residency and we propose to engage the relevant contractors to carry out the works with commencement in spring 2017. I understand that the permits will expire if the work is not carried our within 6 months of the approvals and accordingly to put matters back on track for the works to be carried out in Spring:1. I would like to apply for an extension of the permits (would you please advise whether this email
will suffice for that purpose or is there an application form that must be completed and lodged);2. I expect there is a fee to be paid for the extension – would you please be so kind as to as advise
the amount so that I can pay this.3. I will also pay the outstanding amounts of:
· $573.25 on B16-0273 and
· $115.00 on E16-0145
I acknowledge and understand that:
· a Registered Contractor must also be added to the file before the building permit can be
issued; and
· a Registered Electrical Contractor must also be added to the file before the electrical

B16-0273 has been approved since July 26,2016 The balance owing is: $573.25 **A Registered Contractor must also be added to this file before the permit can be issued** There is also an Electrical permit that has been Approved E16-0145 The balance owing is: $115.00 **A Registered Electrical Contractor must also be added to this file before the permit can be issued** Please contact me with any questions.
