GENERAL NOTES:
1. PRIOR TO PULLING ANY WIRE, SCHEDULE A WALK THROUGH W/ ARCHITECT & OWNER FOR
ELECTRICAL BOX, SWITCH BOX, J-BOX, SCONCE & CAN LIGHT ROUGH IN, ETC.
2. LOCATE SWITCHES AS CLOSE TO TRIM/END OF WALL AS POSSIBLE, SWITCHES MAY BE SHOWN
FARTHER FROM END OF WALL/TRIM FOR CLARITY.
3. LOCATION OF OUTLETS AND OTHER ELECTRICAL DEVICES IS DIAGRAMMATIC -- ACTUAL
PLACEMENT OF ELEMENTS, WORK, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL CONFORM TO THE
LATEST EDITIONS OF LOCAL, STATE OF COLORADO, AND NATIONAL CODES AND ORDINANCES.
4. OUTLETS TO BE LOCATED VERTICALLY W/ CENTERLINE @ 16" ABOVE FINISHED FLOOR, AND
SWITCHES 42" TO CENTERLINE ABOVE FINISHED FLOOR, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED. AT
LOCATIONS WHERE THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, CONSULT THE ARCHITECT.
5. PROVIDE SMOKE DETECTORS AS REQUIRED. SMOKE DETECTORS WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE
MONITORED FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.
6. PROVIDE GFI OUTLET IN EVERY VANITY @ ONE SINK IN CABINET, EXCEPT FOR POWDER ROOMS.
7. ALL DIMENSIONS TO CENTER LINE OF FIXTURE. COORDINATE FIXTURE LOCATION WITH
STRUCTURE AND TO ALIGN AND CENTER FIXTURES AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE PROVIDE GFI
OUTLET IN EVERY VANITY @ ONE SINK IN CABINET, EXCEPT FOR POWDER ROOMS.
8. COORDINATE SWITCHED OUTLETS LOCATIONS AT VANITY WALLS AND FLOORS WITH FURNITURE
PLANS, INTERIOR DOCUMENTS & OWNER
9. PROVIDE CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE PER R315. CARBON
MONOXIDE DETECTORS WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE MONITORED FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.
10. OUTLETS ABOVE VANITIES TO BE VERTICAL WITH CENTERLINE AT 46" AFF EXCEPT AS NOTED.
VERIFY LOCATION & HEIGHT WITH OWNER.
11. VERIFY ALL APPLIANCE ELECTRICAL LOADS WITH OWNER SPECS.
12. PROVIDE POWER AS REQUIRED PER MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR AND SPEC.
13. VERIFY CANS FIT IN STRUCTURAL CAVITY/ JOIST SPACING BEFORE ORDERING.
14. PROVIDE J-BOX FOR HEAT TAPE LOW ON WALL @ ALL DOWNSPOUT LOCATIONS - COORDINATE
W/ ROOFER FOR DOWNSPOUT & EXCAVATOR FOR UNDERGROUND PIPING FOR DOWNSPOUTS.
PROVIDE SUFFICIENT AMPERAGE CAPACITY TO PROVIDE CONTINUOUS HEAT TAPE @ DOWN
SPOUTS & GUTTER AS WELL AS FOR FUTURE 3' HIGH ZIG ZAG @ B.O. ROOF ABOVE GUTTERS IF
REQ'D IN FUTURE.
